What we are up to - Week 6

We only have school 3 days this week.  Daddy is taking Friday off, so we will have a 4 day weekend.  Nothing exciting planned, but that usually means there's some cleaning or organizing to do.

This week is a week of state fair projects for Lydia and County fair projects for Joey.....lots of projects !!!

So this week Brayden is continuing to learn his division facts.  He is really enjoying the Simple Homeschool interactive units.  This week he is continuing Solar System I and starting Human Body I.  He has earned enough points from his Book Adventure reading tests to earn a prize online, so we will be ordering that.

Joey is working on subtraction with borrowing.  His science is on the difference of theory of evolution and the belief in creation.  He will be spending the next few weeks learning about this.  His book on digging into his Asperger brain is giving him a challenge.  He is also still working on the library summer reading program.

Lydia and Caty are both studying more about animal habitats.  Lydia is continuing her regular phonics and Caty is working on sounds and saying the letter sounds correctly.  Lydia is starting a new History of the United States program.

Pretty basic stuff this week.  I didn't plan much because we only have 3 days of school this week.  Next week we'll have more, including art class.
