What we are up to this week....Week 15

It's club week.....Wow....what a week.  We have our first art class of the school year tomorrow.  I am super nervous!  Caty starts speech wth a new therapist, and the girls both start piano with a new teacher.  It's a week of new experiences for us!  Our first American Girl club of the year and Scout meeting is this week also.  Oh and our first co-op for the girls.  I'm tired just thinking about it.

But schoolwork must be done between it all....lots of van schooling this week.

He will be working on writing a report on the history of Halloween.  This will be a two week project.  In math, he is continuing his study of economics.  This week he will learn about the history of money and what bartering/trading means.  In grammar, noun and verb practice.  He will be finishing the Boxcar Children Book 1 this week, and starting to read a cool book on George Washington.

He will be reading about the French and Indian War and the War of 1812 and doing some North America Geography.  Reviewing multiplication facts.  Continue learning about physical and chemical changes with matter.

Working her way through American Girl Samantha Book 3 for Club on Thursday.  Basic math facts for math.  Finish up Ancient China in History and she will be attending a Magic Tree House online class (watch for the upcoming review).  Science she will continue with the human body.  Chugging along in reading.  And continue working on Spanish (also watching for the upcoming review).

It's Letter I week....She will be working on learning her GS promise.  North/South/East/West and reviewing continent song.  In math she will be practicing writing her numbers and remembering a couple hard to remember shapes.  Science - How do we get food?

Hope everyone has a wonderful week!!
