Whipped Cream Cannon....I Mean Dispenser

In Science this week, one topic was how to make whipped cream stable.  Caty plans on experimenting with this over the next couple weeks.  But I bought them a whipped cream dispenser that requires the small cartridges.  They got out the ingredients.

Set up their orange flavored whipped cream

And yep....we had a whipped cream cannon!!  It went everywhere!!!  It was awful.  Turns out the tip was not on right.

They practiced...and both decided they were not impressed with orange flavored whipped cream.

Lydia's marshmallows...

Eating their way through Central American snacks.

On tap for food this week was a true Mexican pizza.  Not a Taco Bell version...Oaxaquena Mexican Pizza.  Most liked it.  Joey HATES beans...so he was the hold out.

An early present for the family....shaved ice machine.  This isn't your normal small machine.  This is business grade.  They LOVE it!!

Caty is half asleep on the couch during Geography.  Apparently the book was not as interesting as she thought it would be.  Teenagers!

Brayden showing off one of his many graduation gifts that have been mailed to us.  He loves this little microwave popcorn maker.

My vegan sloppy joes and roasted cauliflower.

Cauliflower alfredo sauce.  Very unique and a work in progress.

Co-op has started back up.  Lydia is taking piano and a Zoo class virtually.

Caty had an asthma appointment.  She tested as outgrowing her asthma...at only 12!!  So excited for her.  She still needs to go back every 4 months for checks for the next couple years.  They want to watch her lungs.  She has had so many problems through the years, I think even the doctor was skeptical like me.

I teach a little geography co-op virtually on Friday afternoons.  This week we talked about the Northeast part of the US.  Our art project was drawing a lighthouse.  This was fun.

Caty as Yzma from Emperors New Groove.

It was so hot, but we enjoyed chili over the campfire.  Just the first of many!!

Chili that I made for myself...vegan.  It was tasty also.

Joe put up my coffee syrup shelf above our coffee station.  It's not perfect (the station) but it's on its way.  I won't make the cover of Good Housekeeping, but I'm good with that...lol

Hope everyone had a great week!!

  1. There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game. Both boys and girls feel the impact of just a moment’s pleasure, for the rest of their lives.
