I am very excited that I finally finished the first Unit study Guide for American Girl - Julie to share with everyone.  This reading comprehension activity is for Book 1 in the Julie series.  Watch for the remaining guides as I complete them over the next couple weeks.

American Girl Rebecca - Candlelight for Rebecca Reading Comprehension Guide

Lydia, Caty and I recently started reading the Rebecca series.  Set in America during World War I, it's the story of a Jewish family living in America.  They are not rich financially, but they make a good living.  Still there are challenges they must face, and Rebecca seems to be drawn to drama.

Well.....I have been working on this too long.  Actually it kept getting pushed back on the priority list. But now we are finally starting to read these books.  So I had to get this done.  Our goal is to finish both books by the end of May, and anxiously await the movie to come out on July 2nd!!

I have been very busy working hard on creating study guides for all the books in the American Girl Caroline series.

This series centers around the life of Caroline, who is living near Lake Ontario during the War of 1812.    So many changes that Caroline must learn to accept at a very young age.

I have created a study guide that empasizes reading comprehension and strengthens vocabulary.  For each chapter I have included an activity or a craft project for you and your student to do together.  Included in each guide is a list of helpful links, and at least two worksheets for vocabulary skills.
