Our Week in Review June 12 - 18, 2011

It was a slow educational week this week.  We did finish a few projects and done some reading.  Didn't accomplish all that I really wanted too.

The girls and I started Letter B for our letter this week.  We will be finishing Letter B and then starting Letter C this upcoming week.

This is our letter B Basket, courtesy of the girls toys.

Our bonnet (courtesy of Carter House in Franklin, Tennessee).

The book Series that we are using for our alphabet weeks.

Caty working on her Do A Dot sheets.

And they Baked in their Easy Bake oven.

This week we talked about Archaeology in our Story of the World book.  Here is our mini-dig site.  I had buried shark teeth and toys that an archaeologist would find 100 years from now in our backyard.

Playing Bocce ball with the kids.  This is going to be a new family favorite.

The boys worked on Problem Solving worksheets and their Teaching Textbooks.  Next week Joey will be starting Rosetta Stone Spanish, and the girls will be working harder with Speekee.  We will also be working on coin money recognition with all the kids.  The boys will be working on adding money, including decimals review.

And since Blogger is being a pain and not allowing me to upload pictures very well,  I will have to finish the rest in a separate post.  We did a Backyard Campout last night, lots of fun and pics to post.

  2. Awwww! I remember the Easy Bake Oven days! My girl is just 9, but she cooks and bakes in the stove now. Looks like a great B bin!
