Our Weekly Triumphs

Weird Unsocialized Homeschoolers

Our activities for the week were actually pretty laid back.  The boys worked on schoolwork in their grammar books and Lydia worked on her Phonics (beginning reading packets) that we bought from The Moffat Girls store.  The boys worked on BIG IQ Kids for flashcard practice.

The girls (and Brayden) discovered an old favorite on the shelf.  It's the Melissa and Doug Bead Sequencing Set

Lydia and I finished her doll quilt.

I finally got our timeline done.  I have been tossing around ideas on how to get one started.  Thought about painters tape down the hall, but can be played with by Caty too easily.  I had an extra display board for some reason.  And used a silver sharpee to draw the lines.  We are going to combine all subjects on this board.  The yellow represent music.  The green are Story of the World.  The pink are for American Girl Club.  The purple are family events.  It's still a work in progress....but got something going.

We played several board games this week.  Sequence Letters, The new LEGO game below, Chinese Checkers, and some number games.

Brayden is really liking this game too.

Joey and I played the new LEGO Creator game.

Joey and I also did some Rosetta Stone Spanish...Level 1.

Rosetta Stone Spanish (Latin America) Level 1

We started our new music Curriculum....Young Scholar's Guide to Composers.  Watch for the review.

That is pretty much our week.  We had a relaxed week.  Watch for all our adventures coming up next week.  Lots of fun planned!

Joining up with other homeschool moms!!!

  1. Looks like a great week. Sometimes it seems like those relaxed weeks are when the most learning happens.
