Simple Woman's Daybook

Outside my window...

There is a thunderstorm that is passing through.  The sound is very pretty...trying to relax while listening.

I am thinking...

That life is a challenge everyday, and there are so many things that I cannot control.  Would I change anything...nope!

I am thankful...

That we are able to travel with my hubby.

In the kitchen...

Just trying to get ready for our trip...and since the oven is broken there's not a lot of baking going on.

I am wearing...

I am still wearing my pjs.  Getting ready for our day at Imagination Station.

I am creating...

A mess by packing...suitcases all over the living room.

I am going...

We are going to Imagination Station science museum today.  We leave for Philly soon and planning our trips/outings while we are there.

I am wondering...

Whether I will be sane anymore after this trip.

I am reading...

Nothing exciting.  The American Girl Saige books and a book called Papa's Pearls (watch for the upcoming review).  I also am reading the new Chicken Soup for the Soul for Parents with kids on the Spectrum

I am hoping...

for a calm mood day.....

I am looking forward to...

Our upcoming trip...lots of fun adventures.

Around the house...

Lots of decluttering going on.  It's been put on hold this week and will pick up when we return.

I am pondering...

whether or not there is a mysterious sign above our house that reads "Kuehner Zoo"...because I swear this house is either a zoo or circus

A favorite quote for today...

“Walk a mile in my shoes, see what I see, hear what I hear, feel what I feel, THEN maybe you will understand why I do what I do. Until then, don’t judge me”

 -Unknown.

One of my favorite things...

Sitting in the hot tub at night....need to get the hot tub fixed.

A few plans for the rest of the week:

Visit the Franklin Institute, Atlantic City Steel Pier, a Ship Museum, and the Carnegie Museum of Natural History.

A peek into my day...

Fighting to protect the kitten that Joe found in the driveway.  The kids are very helpful, but not always gentle.
