Monday Momentum

I saw this post and had to try this also.  Such a great idea!

Monday Momentum

What are your looking forward to in your homeschool this week?
Finishing some work with spring.  We tried the project with flowers and food dye.  Apparently I bought the wrong flowers and I ran out of food coloring.....so it failed this time.  Will try again later in the week.

What are you needing prayer for as we start out this week?

I will just be praying to make it through each day.  The girls are getting over colds.  Joey is complaining his tooth hurts and may be getting a cold.  I still am not feeling well and the dr. has not called with the test results from last week yet.  My condition is not improving even with an exercise program and of course I'm already watching what I eat because...well I can't eat much at all!  Trying to limit my stress, but HEY we are in the real world.  There is no nanny, maid, cook, dishwasher, butler, strength trainer or teacher that lives in our house.  And unless the dr is going to donate any of those things to me...well life is what it is!!

Is there something you aren't looking forward to (dreading??)
Math with my daughter.  She is struggling and someday we both get frustrated.  Lots of deep breathe and prayer to remain calm.  Trying some new ways this week.  I will post them if it works.

Fun trips or activities you have planned for the week?

We are going on a couple of cool activities this week for school.  Monday afternoon we had a Grossology class at the library!  It was yucky and fun!!! Tuesday we are visiting a local recycling center to understand how important it is to reduce our carbon footprint on the planet.  I can't wait for that trip.  We also have a class on Water and Weather this week (Thursday).  Lydia has her first American Girl club (online at Currclick) this week.  We have started reading the Kaya book and have all our art supplies for Thursday since we can't today.

Special quote or Bible verse that will keep you focused this week.

Ecclesiastes 3:11--He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

Any special Household tasks or goals you want to meet his week?

I am working on finishing spring cleaning in the girls room.  I have all of their most played with toys out and sorted.  Joe put together their new shelves and we made tags to put on the bins so they know where to put their toys away.  The closet organizers were meant to be finished last night, but after my day of running yesterday I was exhausted.  Maybe later tonight after we get home from doctor appointments.

HELP! I need a link or an idea, do you have one to share about ________?

We are looking for some online typing programs for something for IPads.  The boys will be getting those for a present soon and I would like a typing program that this cheap (FREE is even better).  If you have any suggestions, email me:)

I'm going to try this weekly.  Maybe it will help me stick with my goals.
