We are a definite board game family!! We love to play games together, and the kids beg on a daily basis to play more games. I really try to incorporate as many games as I can as part of our learning process in all subjects.
So we were again excited to receive this awesome package from North Star Games. We received a copy of the new game Say Anything Family.
Say Anything Family is a game that really has no wrong answers. It's all based on opinions. Each player or teams as we play in, receive a dry erase board and marker. Each round a designated person asks a questions and you write down what you feel is the best answer. Everyone gets to vote on who they think the designated person will vote as having the best answer. You can put your tokens on someone else or both on yourself. After scoring that round, the next person in the circle then becomes the designated person and the round starts again.
This game moved really quickly for our family. The kids took a bit of a challenge in the beginning when it came to scoring and understanding the instructions.
But they caught on and really liked playing this. They thought it was neat that they could write their answers on the little whiteboards that came with the game. Lydia needed help, so she and I were on the same team.
They have asked to play this again and again. I can see me making this a definite game day choice because some of the questions do make you think a bit. But in a fun way. I'm sure I can come up with some sort of therapy option that this game will cover...lol!
But I love the fact that there are no wrong answers, and the sillier the answer is better at times. It's a fast-moving funny game for those short attention spans!!!
