Artistic Studies - using Acrylics

 Lydia actually finished her study of American Artists, so now she is just working some technique.  The other night while watching TV I let her use some mat board to create.  She used various sized brushes to create different effects in her pictures.

We are using the Usborne book, and for some reason the picture will not correct so it's not upside down.

This is her snake, and his tongue got a little big...lol.  She used the handle of her paintbrush to make the swirls on his back.

She had so much fun with this.  She loves anything to do with art!!!

Next week we will be doing tissue paper prints.
