Simple Woman's Daybook

FOR TODAY

Outside my window...

It was so sunny today and warm!!!  The wind is blowing outside now.  Waiting on the rain to start soon.

I am thinking...

That I am not handling stress well lately.  My body is rebelling.  I don't feel well.  Need to make some changes.

In the kitchen...

I cheated...did cook much.  I heated up the leftover chicken and dumplings for breakfast.  For lunch I made hashbrowns with some all-natural roast beef.  I bought Joe and Lydia dinner at Taco Bell...YUCK!!  and the other kids ate Chicken strips.  Lydia only ate out because she was with me and starving after gymnastics.  I bought the other kids cinnamon twists.  I ate more of the roast beef slices with sliced tomato and a handfull of Kettle potato chips.

I am wearing...

Yoga pants and a Special Olympics t-shirt.  I need to figure out how Special Olympics t-shirts took over my wardrobe...lol

I am creating...

some study guides to go with the American Girl Saige books.

I am going...

to Philadelphia soon with the hubby.  We are getting excited!!

I am wondering...

where to find more time to do the spring cleaning....

I am reading...

actually...nothing.  I keep attempting to read a Karen Robards book, and it's great!  But don't get to stick with it.  Too many interruptions.

I am hoping...

That our doctor visit next week will help with some outburst issues we have started to experience and have been getting worse.

I am learning....

trying to learn how to use my camera better.

Around the house...

decluttering shelves and closets....need to do some spring cleaning.

I am pondering...

where the day went...doesn't seem like it's almost 11 pm!

A few plans for the rest of the week:

Joe has a scope on Thursday, so going to make him some homemade broth tomorrow to keep his energy up.  He's allowed clear fluids and food till midnight.  So going to work on taking care of him.

A peek into my day...

Don't we all wish we were 5 and look at the world through Rainbow glasses....
