What the kiddos are up to this week....

Well I am trying to make things a little easier on me and provide the boys with a challenge.  They seem to be doing well in Grammar and Joey is making improvement in math, so I am going to start using Easy Peasy with both of them.  I am starting them below their "grade" level to really test where they can be and what they can do.

Lydia will also be doing Easy Peasy All in One Homeschool, the same as the boys.  They will be doing their reading/writing/grammar and possibly art on there.  I am going to let them each stay in their current science program, which is a secular science school program along with supplemental experiments and video.  For History they will be taking the program that I created for our Homeschool with Minecraft School.

Caty is going to continue using Teach your child 100 easy lessons and also Easy Peasy All in One Homeschool for reading/grammar.  I like the idea of working a bit with the McGuffey for word recognition.  I will not move her through the program very fast though.  She is doing well with the 100 easy lessons.  In Science she will continue using Science 4 Us (watch for the review).

We have the threat of snow, which is sad.  But I think the girls will be able to make it to their science class at the Science Museum.  We also have piano, med checks, World Travelers Club too.  I also planned a special trip to see the LEGO Movie on Friday with some friends from our homeschool group.

Here's to another busy week, and I'll write a more detailed report about how we are using Easy Peasy All in One Homeschool with each one of the kids and how I supplement with each of them to cover their needs.

Everyone have a great week!!
